Sorry this got away from me

In light of the expert testimony given by John Ford, Sec. Siege, Justice KEmporer and Peter Bell, I find that contact, though not regular relations with other micronations will be beneficial to Atlasia.

I make this recommendation largely because I see other micronations as being a good scource of citizens for Atlasia.  We must make efforts to reach out to them and ask them to migrate here, where they can become active participants in our government.

We must not open up normal relations with these nations.  Nor should we include them in the game, as either act would fundamentally alter our current system and would be difficult to maintain, at best, detrimental to our nation, at worst.

I see no serious possible Constitutional challenge to opening relations.

This is my final recommendation this Senate and the people of Atlasia.

I was beginning to write something up as well until I read this, so I am just going to state that I agree with the distinguished gentlemen from Pennsylvania. Contact with other micronations would be very beneficial to Atlasia, as long as it is not a day to day priorioty of Atlasia. As per a previous agreement with Sen. Supersoulty I will be reintroducing my foregin relations bill in the Senate. The ideal person to be Ambassador was Peter Bell, but since he is not around anymore, we need to come up with another outstanding Atlasian who can handle this most important task.

I ask that my fellow Senators posypone any attempts at a final decision through a resolution or act to July after the elections and Presidential inauguration.

The legislation which I withdrew and I am going to reintroduce, is just guidelines in case we do ever have relations.

As long as it sticks to forum-to-forum type relations and not government-to-government I'm all for it.
