The leaks paint a grim picture of Bush's campaign in Iowa...only able to recruit 4 volunteers after 70,000 phone calls:

Honestly I could see a Giuliani like showing here. I remember Rudy was polling around 6% or so I think prior to the caucuses and he ended up getting 1% or something awful like that.

I think Jeb is toast there, and i can't see any way he reaches 18% of the vote barring a Trump collapse.

The problem is that Jeb's political instincts are all wrong. Notice how attacking Rubio in the debate did not work? Let's do more of that! Notice how just throwing money at the situation is just not working? Let's throw more at the situation! He's still doing all the same things because he believes these are the things that win Presidential campaigns even though all the numbers show that it just doesn't.

New York Times suggests that Bush might have intentionally leaked the blueprint as a way to legally communicate their priorities to Right to Rise, with whom they aren't allowed to "coordinate."

Now there's an outfit with no clear political agenda! I'm surprised they don't want to push ol' Jebby to coast to victory, but I guess they want someone who can beat Hillary if they've given up on Bernie.

Now there's this:

Romney alum rebuts Bush whispers: Rubio passed our vetting

They said the same thing about Christie.

Halperin/Heilemann got their hands on some of the Romney vetting docs for their book "Double Down"... Christie definitely did not pass the vetting.
There's an entire chapter in that book about what a disaster the Christie vet was and it includes two pages that are simply a list of issues found by the Romney vetters that Christie's camp had no answer for.

New York Times suggests that Bush might have intentionally leaked the blueprint as a way to legally communicate their priorities to Right to Rise, with whom they aren't allowed to "coordinate."

It has also been suggested that this lengthy interview with the head of Bush's Super PAC (who generally doesn't do interviews) was a way for the Super PAC to telegraph to the campaign what they were doing....
http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/features/2015-10-20/mike-murphy-of-right-to-rise-explains-his-theory-that-jeb-bush-is-still-the-candidate-to-beat

One of the problems with the whole Bush operation is that they built it so that the Super PAC would do more than usual outside groups. Before Bush announced in June they had worked out a plan, but that plan didn't expect Trump would be the front-runner all the way into the fall.

BTW, another Romney aide rebutted the rumors:

Who wants to take a shot at explaining this?

Isn't that one of the Illuminati conspiracy paintings at Denver International Airport?
