Rand Paul is fending off murmurs that he will drop out of the race and he is on the bubble to even make it into the next debate, but he vows he is in it for the long haul. Donald Trump leads the polls but says if he starts to fall he will drop out. We are four months (and four debates) away from Iowa. Which one of these candidates is more likely to drop out before then?

Trump because he has said he'll drop out if his polls start dropping, and Paul has said he's in it for the long run

The One with funny hair. I mean the one that is going to wreck the economy. I mean the one who's father gave them everything, yet say others need to pull themselves up by their bootstraps...

It's 50-50.

Paul. It would seriously damage him if he did worse than his father in 2008 (~10%).

I think people are seriously misinterpreting that Trump quote. It was trying to mock people like Rand who stay in the race despite polling in the low single digits. Trump is saying that if his poll numbers were like Paul's or Christie's or Huckabee's he'd give in. That isn't at all the same thing as if he drops to 15% or whatever.

Definitely Paul.  Trump isn't going to drop out because he has nothing to lose.

This. Trmp has the balls of a beaver, at bestm, while Paul has the balls of a blue whale, at worst. Paul will stay in it till after New Hampshire, period. Rand is not a whimp like most of his opponents. He's a calm, intellectual human being in a party that is cray-cray-cray-crazy.

Yup Rand Paul, is waaaaay more classier than that clownish blow-hard from Trump Tower.  I might not agree with Rand Paul, but the guy serves an ideal and public service is a calling, whereas with Trump's campaign is no more than a wink and a nod to a unquenchable ego. Does anyone except Trump...of course and his misguided supporters, take that moron seriously. He seriously needs to read the memos....and just exit...like about now!😮
