My policy on absentee votes, given that there is no set procedure in place, has always been to count absentee votes as long as there are no amendments that pass that the voter was unaware of. If any other amendments pass, the voter can no longer know what exactly he or she is voting on, so I don't feel right in counting that vote, even if the person is 100% sure (as you are in your case) that he or she would not have voted for the bill regardless of what amendments come up.
In other words, I'll count your vote if no amendments after Colin's last amendment are added to the bill.
