That shatters the previous record for a rally for any candidate this election, which was the 15,000 people he got yesterday in Seattle (not the one shut down by "BLM").

Well crowd sizes are a huge indicator of success, just ask Presidents Paul and Romney!

I'm starting to think now that Hillary might need those debates even more now than Bernie do. Too bad for her that the first one is almost ten weeks away.

Obama had 72,000 in Portland during the 2008 primary.

Paul was a lunatic, I think even most of his actual fans could agree to that. Bernie is not. He's just the common man who's telling the truth. There's a huge difference between the two.

That was on May 18th of 2008, not nearly 6 months before the first caucus.

I hate to keep bringing this up on all these threads, but it's not like any of the other candidates are giving speeches in stadiums/town plazas and having nobody show up. Bernie knows that it gets him lots of media coverage to hold these massive rallies, and its a good political move on his part, but nothing more.

Firmly believe Sanders could bring a far higher base turnout than Clinton ever could.
Still won't be the nominee.

Friendly reminder that Michael Foot's doomed election campaign drew huge rallies. It's a very classic trap of the old left really.

It's not proof he'll win the nomination, but it is impressive.

I don't see most of the other politicians being able to match this.
