Not with this debate performance.
Amongst Republican Hispanics, the dynamic is different. Romney got over 50% amongst Hispanics in the Republican primary against Newt, out performing his statewide performance by several points and this was immediately after the debate where he made the "self-deportation comments". Amongst all Hispanics though, the dynamic immediateyl changes and if you cannot relate or connect with them on the kitchen table the chance of them looking past such a statement is unlikely.
Trump's populist campaign had some potential to follow that narrow path, but I don't see it coming into play now unless he can rebound somehow.
