Simple, some may actually like Amarillo and Lubbock and Corpus Christi. And there might be someone around here who simply dislikes the big cities altogether.

I suppose you're right, there are decent areas outside of these cities. It just that the panhandle is the first thing I think of when I picture rural Texas. Tongue

Yeah, TX has a ton of medium-sized cities like Arlington as well which would be considered significant metros had they been in a different state.
