Please check the link, as many cities fall under these names. For instance, if you have visited Baltimore, then you have visited the Washington Metropolitan area.

REALLY only Chicago (and that's good enough for me! Tongue), but...

Washington, DC: My aunt lives in NOVA (one of the angry Republicans who constantly talks about how NOVA used to be the most Republican part of the state before the rednecks ditched the Democrats and the hypocritical Democrats from Maryland moved over to avoid high taxes only to vote for higher taxes in Virginia, haha), so we have visited a few times.

Philadelphia: We missed our connecting flight to St. Maarten, and we had to spend the night in Philly without our suitcases (aka, the clothes on our backs), it was raining and we really didn't have much time (we just found a bar right away to watch the Illini game).

Miami: We had a five-hour layover that turned into an all-night layover ... really didn't do much there.

Ones just below this list that I've spent quite a bit of time in:

St. Louis, Indianapolis, Nashville, Milwaukee, Cincinnati, Kansas City

As a PROUD Downstate Illinoisan who can be quite annoyed by some of the suburban Chicago kids you meet at college, I'll put the Chicago area up against any in the US as the coolest.  Just had one of the best weekends of my life catching a Cubs game, visiting friends in Lincoln Park and spending all day Saturday on the lake at a beach bar.

All of those except Boston, Dallas, Houston, and Miami.

That is, assuming you don't count airport layovers.  I've had layovers at Boston, Dallas, and Miami, so if you count those, then I've been to all of them except Houston.

New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Washington, and Atlanta I know for a fact I've been there (born near LA) I probably went to Phoenix, Philly, and Houston on a trip, but I don't recall. As for the rest, I want to go there a lot, I've gotten a lot of chances too (Seattle surprisingly more than Miami) but I haven't because of various other reasons.
