The US, assuming I don't live in a Deep South state. Otherwise, Apartheid South Africa.

:?:

Even if we assume that the modern-day US is just as discriminatory as Apartheid South Africa, which is bogus, the standard of living for blacks in the United States is pretty decent, whereas in Apartheid blacks lived in 1-room shacks with no running water or electricity.

Say what you want, but I don't want to live in a region where racist Republican Senators win reelection with 97% of the vote and where Republicans pass Jim Crow voter suppression laws. We're not in the 19th century anymore!

Umm... Jeff Sessions? 2014? 97%? And Trent Lott? Ted Cruz? Jesse Helms? Richard Shelby? These guys speak volumes about the Deep South.

Sanders Foster 2016, it comes as no surprise that you're from Arkansas. The state that gave us Tom Cotton.

please tell me when blacks had their citizenships stripped, or they were forced to move onto hellish "reservations", or when Black Lives Matter activists had literal bombs mailed to them by the FBI/CIA, or about the recent skeegy wave of "suicides" that were obviously murders, or...

because that is literally how goddamn racist apartheid SA was

yes, but at least they were open about it instead of pretending to want equality like neoliberal fascist : (

Oh Sanders / Foster 2016, spare me please! I am sick and tired of this Democrats were the racist ones 100 years ago! argument. Yes there were many racist Democrats, but they were DIXIEcrats (Wallace, Sessions, Thurmond). The Northern Democrats had nothing to do with them. And Sessions was a Dixiecrat and became a Republican after realizing that the Republican party is not the party of Lincoln anymore. Tell me please, why do the DixiecratsRepublicans cheer their old buddy Jeff? Sanders Foster 2016, the South will never ever decide a Presidential election again. Thank God!2008 was the tipping point. Obama did worse with Southern Whites than the loser Kerry who is as liberal as Obama. Why?! You have three guesses! Reagan, Bush senior and junior used race aand racial politics to sweep the South and win their elections (see: Southern strategy). Those days are now long gone, Sanders Foster 2016! Long gone Smiley

For explaining to you the difference between Dixiecrats and Democrats? Since you claim that Democrats still practice racial politics, you should be the last one to call another user a troll. Leave me alone, just leave me alone, okay?

From what I've heard from people who had been to South Africa before 1990 Apartheid was even worse than segregation.

Jeff Sessions won 97% because he ran unopposed, dipsh**t. No one else filed in time to run.

'Old Jeff' would have won anyway in a state like Alabama. Democrats were afraid of putting up a candidate because of Sessions dirty smear campaign.

Thank you, hangfan91.  You've brought a completely unique and original view to the Atlas in a time of great strife.  Bless your heart.  And it has got me thinking... is there a SINGLE place in America today where I'd be better off in Apartheid SA had I been a black?  I think Oldiesfreak's head and certain "festival" days in Branson could come close, but I'm using a different definition of awfulness than the slew of SJW who've come thru this thread, Mr. hangman.
