In accordance with Article III, Section 6 of the Mideast Constitution, New Canadaland has been nominated to fill the vacant Mideast Senate seat.

If there are no questions, I will call a vote in approximately 24 hours.

I would have preferred more of a public consultation when it comes to these things (democracy and all that), but considering I am confident that New Canadaland would have the confidence of the region, I cannot object to his candidacy.
