Are dedicated work e-mail accounts mainly a thing for professional office workers? Or are they also common for lower-SES jobs in the service industry, manufacturing, transport, etc.? (I mean just the existence of the separate address with a corporate suffix, not a strict rule about which account is used for what.)

I have several "dedicated" work email accounts.  One, with my company, I've NEVER checked.  Don't even know how (I could probably find out, but I don't care...hate my company).  My main work email is an @us.af.mil and that's where I get all my work related emails, but I can only check it at work.  I also have a secure email address, but again, I've never used it and don't really know how.

Every Walmart employee in the world has their own internal corporate email account (although most non-supervisors never use it)
