With his recent school "reform" proposal.

I think we should coin the term "krazen Democrat" for him.

Cuomo is like Bush. Make huge decisions in different fields using no real experts, all to show what a strong  leader he is.

The original post is backwards. Andrew Cuomo gives them almost $20k per year per student. With New York State's student population collapsing one wonders when Cuomo is going to fire some teachers.

Democrats are the people who make people healthy by feeding them cake. Cuomo can't keep the lie going forever.

No, I'm pretty sure that's the Republicans.

There is no causal link between obesity and how a county votes

Interesting. I'm from the least obese county in North Dakota. I have to wonder why the other urban counties are so much worse, especially as Bismarck is pretty car-driven even by ND standards and Fargo

Texas is doing surprisingly well, there really is a huge contrast across its eastern and northern border. I wonder why.

Money and economic opportunity. The same reason southern Illinois and eastern Colorado have such stark contrast to their poorer neighbors.

Also those areas are more influenced by Southern culture, and the artery-clogging cuisine that comes with it.

Yeah, it's pretty clear this map is based on data compiled at the state level and passed on to the CDC, so differences between states are likely exaggerated, especially in the case of Colorado.

It's not the methodology, it's just the classification system they've used. The stark contrast could be as little as 3-4%.

I like how this thread has diverted from Cuomo screwing over teachers to discussion of obesity rates.
