Assuming you're not being an apologist for a liar, I'll tell you.

Flyers created the whole GirlGoneWild account and Akno was his campaign manager and knew about it. Akno lied repeatedly when Phil, I, and others asked if we knew. Flyers finally came clean about it and Akno resigned everything and quit. Now he thinks he can come back and everything will be forgiven.

I believe that's twisting the facts.  If I remember correctly, what happened was Akno had been defending Flyers against accusations that Flyers had created Girlgonewild.  While doing this however, Akno did not know that Flyers was, in actuality, guilty.  What got him in trouble was when Flyers revealed to Akno that he had created GirlGoneWild.  Akno discussed with the leftist high command what exactly to do for a couple of days.  This delay, alongside the fact that during the delay Akno continued to defend Flyers, is what the scandal is.  In all honesty, I could see what IrishDemocrat did wrong, but I could never see what Akno did except want to fully understand what was happening before coming out.

That's what I thought happened.

I don't believe in tarring and feathering somebody for the rest of their time in the game.  I think pretty much everybody here has done something they regret, but that doesn't mean they should be ostracized.  You of all people should have learned that by now, Jake.

Why should I of all people have learned it, Joe?

Back in November, at the point when Pennsylvania and New York were being filled up with questionable Democratic registrations, you attempted an illegal move back to your own state.  You were caught out, and you subsequently admitted that you thought it was worth a shot because 'they were doing it first'.  Most other people's illegal state changes were due to sheer lack of better knowledge (see: Josh22), but yours was deliberate.

Then of course is your activities during the Southeast Nullification Crisis.  I don't really think we need to dig that up all over again, save to say that reckless acts of showmanship while serving in regional government are probably as comparable to lying about another person's voter fraud.

I know I'm not exactly a model of good citizenship (see: my inactivity in July), but at least I don't go around telling others that they shouldn't be allowed to play any more.  People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Yes, taking a game so seriously as to lie about it is definitely as terrible as bringing some action into the game to make Naso get forgotten. Right

Also, you claim that I may "regret" my previous actions. Why would I exactly?

Uptight? Not exactly. I may be pissed depending on the outcome of tonight's, but maybe not.

You don't regret breaking the (Atlasian) law at least twice?

This seems a little ironic to me seeing as what Akno and even Flyers did wasn't illegal, and yet at least one of them regrets doing it.

Elected officers should be expected to never lie. Something I haven't done while playing this game.
