http://www.salon.com/2014/11/26/the_one_number_that_exposes_why_carly_fiorinas_nascent_presidential_campaign_is_such_a_joke/

"But there’s even fresher evidence that Fiorina is hardly the brilliant financial steward she purports to be, and it can be boiled down to one figure: $500,000.

That’s the amount of campaign debt Fiorina still owes to consultants and campaign aides from her unsuccessful Senate run four years ago, according to the Post. Unsurprisingly, the paper reports, many former Fiorina aides are “bitter” over the lingering debts, which will almost certainly prompt potential ’16 associates to think twice before signing on to Fiorina’s latest wild goose chase.

At the very least, though, a Fiorina campaign and the attendant scrutiny would provide a useful reminder that for all the chatter that a business background is an asset in politics, it’s no predictor of either success or sound political management."

Fiorina is a richer, more polished, Californian Sarah Palin.

So she's like Kristen Wiig on The Californians

I truly do not understand Carly Fiorina.

If you're going to use your record as a private sector manager as justification to be what is essentially a public sector manager, it might help if you had actually succeeded managing your business. Carly Fiorina did not. She allowed herself to be distracted by shiny objects, overpaid to acquire Compaq, did not make the effort to integrate the two companies and left that task to her successors after years of unnecessary overhead and redundancies, and remained ignorant of the inevitable commoditization of hardware that was coming just as she was unceremoniously shown the door.

She is the worst kind of CEO - the kind who really does think she is "special," that her employees, customers and board should be grateful for the mere privilege of having her around and that she should be paid exorbitant amounts as a result. And now her former California ballot partner Meg Whitman is in the hot seat trying every kind of accounting sleight of hand she can to keep the shareholders happy.

Carly Fiornia was so much of a screw up at HP before she was fired that Forbes has criticized her from the left. Forbes. When Forbes criticizes you from the left, you screwed up big time. They criticize her gutting of R&D here.

Entire relevant part about Fiornia:

Perhaps she's hoping to fill the shoes of Michele Bachmann, and will probably finish as poorly as she did, too.

Surely the Republicans have more qualified, experienced, intelligent, competent female presidential candidates. Oh, wait.

Fiorna's potential campaign is mind boggling. Her main claims to fame are a business she failed to run and a Senate campaign she failed to win.

Yes, but we could have more demon sheep ads, so I'm not complaining.

Salon is such a kind-hearted publication.  Nope, it will help to have a woman in the debates to help deflect the Democrats gender-card strategy that worked out so well for Mark Udall and others.

Ms. Fiorina can pay off her 2010 campaign debts with her own money if she wishes, or write a book.  Her consultants were grossly overpaid to begin with.

So women are props?

I wonder what she's trying to do with a 2016 bid. Preparing for a 2018 California rematch? There's no chance of her becoming the POTUS or VPOTUS nominee. She has never ever served in elected office.

Trying to decide whether Fiorina or Carson are more absurd as POTUS candidates.
