There is no reason to stick with Sestak simply because OMG he got 49% in 2010. Sestak also has a reputation as a bully and going with a new, fresher face might make beating Toomey easier.

That sounds like a pretty damn good reason to me.

Good. The Democratic Party needs more balls.

Things have changed though, people desperately want action in Washington and Toomey's reputation on that front could be contrasted with Sestak's reputation. Back before 2010, being a tough as nail punch you in the face politician like Chris Christie was a big attraction, now they want kinder, gentler from politicians, people who can sit down together at a table.

Also, did PoliticsPA really write an article about some random person making a Facebook page?

Shapiro would be a far stronger candidate than Sestak.  Hopefully he wins the nomination!

Isn't he also a dick to his staffers too?

Yeah, Sestak is basically a dick in general.

When I first saw this, I thought it was a Super PAC or something.

Not a Facebook page with a couple hundred likes.

This is a nothing story that doesn't deserve a thread. But Shapiro looks like a good candidate, I'd be okay with him running.
