Pat Quinn narrowly defeats Hillary in a 2008-esque fashion despite his horrible approval ratings. Republicans rejoice as polls show Quinn losing 40+ states and the popular vote by double digits. Fast forward to election day, and The People's Pat wins in a 538-0 landslide. The Republican Party officially disbands and Emperor Quinn is declared the supreme leader of the United States. Then an eagle soars across the sky and drops a single tear on the American flag.

*ahem*

primary:

pat quinn 2751 delegates
hillary clinton 438 delegates

hillary clinton is so mad about being a loser again that she accepts the republican vp nomination

general election:

pat quinn/zoë quinn 538 EV*, 70% PV
jeb bush/hillary clinton 0 EV*, 29% PV
*all the gamergate creeps move to jokelahoma to try and win at least one state, but the electors decide to not be as awful as their voters.

Quinn would steamroll her in Iowa due to the neighboring-state advantage.

Then an eagle soars across the sky and drops a single tear on the American flag.

And if for whatever reason the Emperor Quinn scenario doesn't play out, he will run for reelection for a second term going into the campaign with a 6% approval rating. His entire campaign consists of a few TV spots with Michelle Obama. Polls show him getting "Blanched," trailing by 20-30%.

He then wins reelection by 270-268, and the popular vote by a margin of 0.000001%. During his second term, he gets presidential term limits repealed. Then and only then will Emperor Quinn, known by his loyal Democratic cult followers as the People's Pat, reign supreme for the rest of his life.

Pat Quinn/Neil Abercrombie vs. Sam Brownback/Tom Corbett. Discuss with maps.

Ah, the R-PA dream ticket...too bad there's no way to get Santorum on too.

Quinn would have a huge advantage because O'Hare is a major air hub

Ebola patients to fly into DFW: 1
Ebola patients to fly into Hartsfield-Jackson: 1
Ebola patients to fly into O'Hare: 0
Ebola patients to fly into JFK: 0

Quinn/DeBlasio is the leadership we need in these trying times.
