My concern is the temporary boost ads give to candidates. If they do an ad blitz right before election day, is that enough to hold them over to the finish line?

Uh...the GOP has already reserved airtime and other resources in Louisiana for a (likely) runoff while the Dems haven't. And I believe Republicans have also already committed money to Georgia for a runoff but not airtime (Dems haven't reserved time in GA either).
