I get 4 hours of sick leave per pay period (2 weeks), which can accrue without limits.

When I started, I got 4 hours of vacation time per pay period. After 3 years, that increased to 6 hours per pay period. After 15 years it will increase to 8 hours per pay period. This leave accrues indefinitely throughout the year until, after a certain date, any amount unused over 240 hours is lost.

I also receive 10 federal holidays off.

I think it makes sense to get 20 days of paid leave per year (equates to one month if you work five days a week). The employees themselves can choose when to use these days, whether it be for sick days, holidays, or vacation. Family leave, however, is an entirely separate issue for which I believe parents deserve much more time. In my opinion, the expectant parents in this situation should be give 50 weeks to divide between the two of them.

In the above situations, the employees should be paid in full (100%).
