as the title suggests, if the votes are close I may do a round 2 of this (hence people can vote for up to 3 options), these are the 15 current or former major "liberal/progressive" talk show hosts that were syndicated in some fashion (avoided the super regional hosts because people wouldn't recognize them outside of their regions).

My votes go to Goodman/DN, Hightower and Goldman, the latter only because he tolerated third party dissent and wasn't just reading out DNC talking points.

Rachel Maddow is pretty good. Yes, she is very liberal, so I rarely agree with her views, but I appreciate that she seems well-informed. She doesn't just spout off her opinions like many media personalities. I like Alan Colmes as well.

I watch TYT on a daily basis for liberal perspective, Rachel Maddow is tolerable and funny sometimes, and from what I've seen of Sam Seder, he's OK. Voted for those three.

Thom Hartmann is the only good liberal radio host, but he has a bad habit of talking about imagined pentagrams in the GOP logo and such idiocy.

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

This seems like a fairly good answer.

Sam and Al get my vote

....and though he's not on the list, nor doing that gig anymore and I didn't listen when he did do that gig, Marc Maron is the sh**t.

As ironic as this sounds, the only two people on the radio I listen to on a fairly reguler basis are Howard Stern and Garrison Keillor. Of course, I listen almost 100% to the Grateful Dead station on Sirius XM Tongue.

Among those listed Hartmann, Franken, and Uygur with honourable mentions to Goodman and Jon Stewart.

My favorite was Alex Bennett, but he's no longer on Sirius XM.

This. Although TYT and Sam Seder are the only ones I listen to regularly.
