I'm wondering who Pressler takes from. Pressler was a Republican, but his positions today suggest he's a moderate Dem, albeit more liberal on social issues.

He's drawing from Rounds mainly. Weiland has always been at about 30%, whereas Rounds was cracking 50% in the head to head polls without Pressler.

Because he didn't want to be trounced.

Re: Pressler, despite his years as a GOP senator, after having backed Obama in both his races I doubt he's pulling more support from Rounds.

Hmmm. Maybe a good thing he didn't run as a Democrat; or that Weiland doesn't drop out and endorse him. Rounds would face a competitive race under those circumstances.
