Im not a Bush fan at all, but this ad probably sat really well with alot of American's.  Ill probably get flamed by some Democrats for saying this, but, this ad gives me goosebumps. LOL

I just did a google and some sites claim the soldiers in the background are fake.  Still, I think it is an excellent ad.

The ad wasn't faked.  Bush was removed from portions of the scene and repalaced with redigitized soldiers from other parts of the scene.

The ad itself, however was very good.

Bush did a much better job with his security and feel good ads.  Some of them were very similar to Reagan's "Morning in America" ads, which were probably the best ever.

The best ads make you 'feel' rather than 'think'

Does anyone have a link to Bush's wolves ad? I never got to see it but it sounded hilarious. Kiki

I think that this was clearly the best ad of the year.  It is not a "he said, he said" ad, which most of the others were.  It is a truely heart-felt ad.

Best part is, it probably cost almost nothing to make.

P.S.  I am refering to "Whatever It Takes" of course.

I stole that from the Daily Show, I wasn't being serious, Kerry's hunting liscense thing was so fake it was funny, he'd have done better to just pound Vietnam than that. They were mocking both the Bush wolf ad and the Kerry hunting liscense thing, by saying you should vote Kerry since he has a hunting liscense to protect us from the wolves Bush talked about. Funnier to see than be repeated.

The answer to that can be seen by who resides in the White House.

"Some people have Wacky Ideas" one was great. The only campaign ad I laughed at because it was funny. Smiley

Oh yeah. That was a great one.  The best part was that great line: "And then we will tell the terrorists, 'You will lose and we will win'..." Tough words.  Roll Eyes

The Kerry biographically ads where the best by far. The worst were Ralph Nader's ads for his six supporters.

Yet your party was so afraid of him that there was a huge effort to get him kicked off the ballot in a number of states.

My party, not me. I thought this was a democracy and he should have been allowed on ever ballot, just like with Peroutka, the Socialists, and hell, even Dodge.
