I noticed that we didn't have one of these, and I know I can't be the only one out there who follows it.

Anyways, with the first half of the season over, we're heading into the final stretch. The West is wide open, though OKC seems to be running over everyone in their path. OKC and the San Antonio Spurs seem to be atop everyone's list, but there's also the Rockets, Clippers, Warriors, Trailblazers, and more to consider. It's a mess. The East sucks, plain and simple, with only the Heat and the Pacers having a legitimate chance at the championship. But that'll be a great series, when it happens.

LeBron James and Kevin Durant are battling it out for the MVP trophy, yet again. Durant, long considered the second-best player behind the King, is on an absolute tear and posting a higher PER, though it looks like LeBron is getting ready to turn it up. If Durant wins, it'll be his first, and be only the second time in six years someone not named LeBron has won it. If LeBron wins, it'll be his fifth MVP in six years, tying Michael Jordan.

Oh, and Steph Curry is Threesus.

I'm sad that Jan Veselư's gone, but his lasting contribution to our culture will be my roommate's invention of the Vesely line: points equal to or less than fouls. Nowadays whenever I'm watching the Terrapins with my friends we'll spend the game speculating on whether Evan Smotrycz will end up on the wrong side of the Vesely line.

Obviously I'm excited that Maryland hero Steve Blake is on the Warriors. I wish I could see the Warriors more often (although they're certainly on national TV far more than ever before), but the Wizards are a fun team and I enjoy watching them, too.

Well, just got back from the Warriors-Rockets game tonight. First time being there in a long while. Great win.

Always going to remember Vesely for that crazy kiss on draft night.

That has me really excited. Steve Blake is precisely what the team needs; the fact that we got him for spare parts astounds me. I'm going to miss the #BazedGod's celebrations, but it'll probably be good for his career that he'll be on the Lakers. Plus, a team with him, Swaggy P, and Sacre? God, Kobe's going to go nuts.

Hilariously enough, Wizards are probably the #4 seed (or #3 if the Raptors fall off). I do like Wall-Beal as a combo, though.

The crowd in Oakland is remarkably liberal with the MVP chants, isn't it? I mean with Curry it's not unwarranted, but Mo Speights was getting them a couple weeks back, and I distinctly remember being at a game a few years ago where Monta Ellis was being hailed at MVP. This is why I love being at Warriors games.

Mo Speights totally deserved those chants.

LeBron James, 61 points last night, new career high.

On another note, the last three 55+ games have come against the Charlotte Bobcats. LeBron, Carmelo Anthony, and Deron Williams (hard to believe now).
