Andrew Jackson (I like having the right to vote) is probably at the top of my list, but I don't exactly feel like going through this because how do I really compare how terrible John Tyler was to how awful Franklin Pierce was?

I would say Jackson, Van Buren, and JQA were at the top, and probably Polk, too. The Democratic Party of this period was obviously a Freedom Party from 1828 until the mid-to-late 1840s, when it got bought out by the slave power.
