Does anyone still believe that the transfer from a military junta to a parliamentary government was a meaningful one? Burma is still a racist totalitarian regime and Suu Kyi has sadly failed to really change that.

That would also apply to the Burmese government's continued violent persecution of Christian and Muslim ethnic minorities.

The government is now saying that DWB will be allowed be to stay in the country, with the exception of of Rakhine.
