§1. Naming Propositions

(a) All Propositions shall from hereon be named before they are proposed.

(b) Old Propositions shall be named by their author.  The name must be submitted to the Governor by May 1st or the Governor will select a name for the proposition.

This is just a short one, but I think it’s important, nonetheless.

I guess I should give a reason for this proposition:

1) I needed to refer to another proposition in one of my propositions *double-checks that to make sure it makes any sense* and I couldn't do that very easily because it didn't have a name.  So I think we should name the propositions, so they’re easier to reference.

2) It would make the ballot a lot simpler.  Here’s an example of what I mean:

Old ballot

Vote Yea or Nay on this Proposition:
Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah
Blah
Blah Blah Blah
Blah Blah Blah
Blah

Now it would be:
The Blah Proposition

The link would actually be to the thread where it was introduced and it would no longer be necessary for the whole proposition to be on the ballot.

Thank you very much!  I think I might run in Augest depending on who gets elected in April.  I was also thinking about a Lt. Governor position, but I'm not sure.

Unless there's no one running against him, that is. Wink

Verin's continuing re-elections never cease to amaze me really:

1. He doesn't do anything in his post unlike most of the other Governors.
2. The one constitutional obligation on him (i.e. redistricting) he treats as a total joke by proposing insane maps and is generally a hinderance in the entire process of getting a sensible map passed.

But then I suppose he basically is the sofa to the lounge that is Atlasia: What would we do without him?

Well, I'd say I like watching Verin, but that really doesn't sound right.

Ah yes... Private Eye... even if most of it was made up and probably libelous, there was just enough truth in it to get people worried Smiley
