Remember the two weeks when (some had a fantasy that) the Dems were going to take the House and maybe expand their majority in the Senate?

Oh, and let me take care of this for the rest of you:

"THIS IS ALL BECUZ A WEBSITE ISN'T WORKIN?!?"

No but keep telling yourself that.

Expanding a majority in the Senate is virtually impossible. Did anyone actually think that?

I believe some on this forum did. They argued that they could gain KY and GA and only lose SD. I believe PolitiJunkie was among them (banned a month or two ago for creating sock). But to be fair he and others said it was unlikely but possible.

Around this place? Absolutely.

Not surprising. Democrats can't just keep blaming the people. It is only a logical response to the website not working. This is not F'in facebook we are talking about. This is not just another website. This is the portal through which people are supposed to get insurance. You better make sure it works!

I really think that if the Dems try the Jedi mind tricks that are so popular around here, it might turn the tide!

The hyperbole in this thread by a certain poster is obnoxious.

These are not the polls you are looking for.

This is just the kind of poll that will embolden the far right in 1st Qtr 2014 to shut down the government again and nominate more fringe candidates who are barely literate.

Well, if the Democrats can't take the House when the Republicans had been holding up the government, exactly how do they expect to be able to take control of the House?

41%
55%

Guess which one of these is the Obama approval.

Oh, and the Dems on this forum continue to spew the propaganda that Hillary is absolutely, without a doubt, unquestionably, undoubtedly, the Dem nominee and next President.

Please.

That's the problem. The fact that an uninspiring but at least vaguely well-meaning bog-standard tepidly social-liberal party is having trouble maintaining a Generic Congressional Ballot lead over a party that very recently inflicted obvious and unnecessary damage on the country and its inhabitants despite there not being anything they could plausibly have gained from it, because the electorate has the collective memory of MDMA-addicted goldfish and has decided that it is more interested in a website design problem with the implementation of a health care policy package that the latter party proposed in the first place decades ago and then spent the past four years inveighing against out of spite or because of collective memory problems of their own, is exactly the problem that a lot of us have with contemporary American political culture.

1. Democrats should be hammering Republicans nonstop fro their blackmail
2. The media should actually report on news, rather than being a joke
3. The American people should stop being so damn stupid

Don't worry, this is another genius level 11 dimensional chess move by Obama.

The healthcare law will be implimented by the end of 2014 with employer mandate. And tea partiers will dominate the budget negotiations again. Once voters realize these two things once the elections begin, they will realize the tea party must not go unchecked with control of senate at stake.

And they will also have a say in questioning Christie's conservatism.

Thankfully, the candidates the Tea Party will elect in the primary are far from "generic Republicans."

These candidates are actually now "generic Republicans."

You're talking about generic Republicans, yes?

Don't worry, once Obamacare is in full force and 180% of Americans are insured and realize how great the state forcing you to buy a product is, the Democrats will win super majorities in the Congress and every state legislature. [/Leif]

The state either through your employer or through Medicaid or Medicare are gonna subsidize your insurance. In the meantime the exchanges are setup mainly for self employed people or for the very sick.
It would of been a good idea to delay it for a yr but it will play into midterms.

Cook calls it one of the most dramatic shifts he's seen in his career.
