Be more specific. What do you refer to when you say "everything that does not line up with their own worldview"? What kind of negative life experiences inform this worldview? How have your own experiences led you to a different worldview?

Be more specific. What do you refer to when you say "everything that does not line up with their own worldview"? What kind of negative life experiences inform this worldview? How have your own experiences led you to a different worldview?

My own life experience is being constantly told that as a white man, I am incapable of ever being sensitive to the needs of minorities and should be in perpetual repentance. This led me to become hostile to minorities and adopt white nationalism as a defense.

Your own comments on race have been very accusatory towards white people. This leads me to conclude that your own life experience as a Bangladeshi-American and experiences with racism have resulted you taking up a hostile attitude towards race, an attitude similar to the attitude that drove me to bigotry to begin with.

For example:

Essentially, what this comes down to is white people being upset that there's some aspect of society (in this case, the language that black people use among themselves) that white people are unable to control, and consequently taking upon themselves the burden of regulating it. It's really for the blacks' own good, isn't it?

White people automatically seek to control black culture? Granted, that was not the wider point you were making at the time, and your actual point was quite good, but comments like these (or better yet, accusations) put people on the defensive. It doesn’t matter who you accuse or what you accuse them of-if you accuse somebody of something, you should be prepared to hear a rebuttal and respond with something more significant than this:

Shut the restaurant down, throw him in jail.

A little extreme? I mean, aside from a few very offended people, what harm has he caused (financial, reputational or physical)?

What harm does discrimination ever cause to anyone?

Hurt feelings. If that was a crime, we'd all be in jail.

Why, yes, that is the sort of thing a white person would say.

And I can find many examples from a certain red avatar, but since he seems to hate us (and yet, always ends up returning) and has been away for a few days, I’d rather not bring him into us.

This is not, however, the same as saying "There's no such thing as American culture" or "German culture" or English, Scottish, Irish, or Welsh culture. Those may be very broad generalizations, but at least there's something meaningful there.

That as a white person, I am incapable of understanding that concept for the sole reason of being white. That is hypocracy to me, and to some degree, seems to negate the idea that there is no "white culture."

Then you're full of baloney.  Of course there's a white culture.  Europeans for at least 700 years have claimed racial, religious, and moral superiority over the rest of the world and have used that claim of superiority to justify enslavement and imperial domination.  To pretend that there is no white culture is to be willfully ignorant.  Even now, even today with universal education and basically free high-speed internet we argue over when and whether China will "accept democracy" as though it is the end-all, be-all form of civilization, all other forms being inferior, of course.  (It was invented by the greeks, after all, and they're white.  Sort of.)

There is no definitive white culture, but there certainly is an American culture, an Anglo-Saxon culture, an Eastern European culture, etc. that have been assigned in my mind for the longest amount of time as “white culture.” I certainly agree with large swathes of this post, however.
