51/36 over Bohlinger, 52/35 over Walsh. Up big with Indies. Walsh leads 39-31 in the Dem primary. MT-AL a clown car, but Stapleton has a solid lead for now.

53% of voters don't even know who Walsh is, versus 21% for Daines and 40% for Bohlinger.

Sure makes Rehberg look lame doesn't it.

At this rate, we will have to soon move this over WV and SD as most likely GOP pickup.

The fact that Daines has a 37/42 approval, Walsh is unknown, and the fact that were in a ObamaCare-driven nadir that is sure to affect polling that will surely fade (at least slightly) over time, makes me want to not give up on this race.

That being said, this race is probably Likely R at this point. This is Montana, and the GOP is bound to break their losing streak at some point.

Apparently, PPP isn't a bad pollster when it shows a Republican up, since I don't see in of the usual complaints yet.

Wow. This is on par with Rounds lead in South Dakota. I knew Daines was favored but was not expecting this big of a lead. Dominating!

FWIW, if Republicans take this and manage to knock off Landrieu, Pat Roberts' seat will be the only one thats elected Senators from the same party since the 17th Amendment was enacted.

How were you not expecting a big Rounds lead? He's a fairly popular Former Governor. He's no Rick Berg (yuck).

I think you misunderstood. I said I didn't expect Daines to be in this big of a lead. With Rounds I'm actually surprised he's only leading by 14 points.

Keep in mind both Walsh and Bohlinger don't have much recognition at all. When all's said and done I expect Daines to win by high single digits to low teens. Won't go as far as saying WV and SD are less likely at all.

The words I bolded implies a conditional based based on the present situation "continuing like this". IF Daines continues to stack up the big numbers, then....
