I don't understand why this has not be an issue in the forum.

Am I the only one that Acknowledge that the Heisenberg campaign of murder and terror could only happen in "do what you want" New Mexico?

Okay, maybe Mike Johnson is a competent parliamentarian.

Yes, you are the only one to acknowledge that. Watch Winter's Bone and then get back to us, Peeperkorn.

I'm not very interested in hipster stuff.

If I wanted to be a good hip I would say I love Mad Men and end of the story.

I said watch Winter's Bone, not watch Silver Linings Playbook. Not all Jennifer Lawrence movies are the same movie.

Or you could actually read a nonfiction book on the subject and develop your views on such a dangerous and ambiguous aspect of American life from there, but to each his own.

I think Heisenberg is more a consequence of the fact that we don't have universal health care.

This is the more likely answer; I haven't seen the show; isn't the reason he went into drug dealing because his family couldn't afford his medical bills?

Huh? I've haven't actually watched Breaking Bad, so I'm sure missing something, but what does a show about a drug dealer have to do with Gary Johnson or universal health care? Huh

Yes, he's diagnosed with cancer and goes into drug dealing.

The premise was that he started cooking meth because he couldn't afford treatment for his lung cancer/wanted to provide for his family after he died. It got away from that pretty quick though.
