My friend does plan on doing this once the new season starts, he just had his daughter last week and was mentioning that when the topic came up because he was wearing a Walking Dead shirt, pointing out (correctly) that she's not going to understand anything and he can just give her a bottle and rock her to sleep. The main reason I brought it up was because one of my co-workers reported that her 18 month old once looked out a window, ran away crying, she picked him up and he started saying "chombie chombie", I asked how he even knew that word and she said it's probably because his father watches The Walking Dead.

But for a six week old, yeah I say fine. Some people did seem to disagree though.

I don't see anything wrong with it. I wouldn't watch it with an eighteen month year old though.

The real question here, BRTD, is if it's okay to watch it with your daughter.

What the hell would be wrong with that?  They wouldn't know what is going on.

Exposing the youth to the evils of television should be considered child abuse, regardless of the show in question.

I wouldn't consider it OK to watch The Walking Dead in most situations.

His daughter's watched some pretty messed up stuff, so I assume it's fine.
