Stu Rothenberg here writes like a cross between Angus and Mechaman, high on something, but nevertheless calm rather than manic.  He's just overdosed to the point of toxicity with pompous psephological pundits pretending their crystal balls are something other than the opaque baubles, suitable for putting into the take-to-Goodwill box in your garage that has all those old clothes that you can't fit into anymore, that they actually are, and badly needed a therapeutic  antidote. That was pretty funny. I'd probably find it funnier if it wasn't from Rothenberg, who I view as the stodgiest of stodgy old elections predictors. But he definitely has a point.
