...the Simsons where oil is doscovered under Springfield Elementary, Tito Puente comes to town, Burns steals the oil, blocks out the sun, and everyone plots to kill him, and with like 30 seconds left, a convertible drives up and out comes Krusty with his luggage.  He goes, "Hey hey hey, I just got back from Cucamonga, what did I miss?"

That's how I feel right now.

As far as I can tell, lewis won on a technicality because StatesRights changed his name.  He decided to resign, throwing the Presidency to True Democrat, while Al and KEmp have to live with the fact that they're not president because Lewis wasn't serious.  Is that pretty much right?

Nym90 concedes a race he didn't lose to Mike Naso for god knows what reason.  What would that reason be?

Al now proclaims himself retired.  Did he just quit?

I've been sort of maybe maybe not nominated for GM.  That's cool.

Seems like y'all had fun while I was away.  Cowtown sucked ass.  I'll write all about my trip in Individual politics because it has both individual and politics.

I'm going to Taco Bell because the only food I've had in the last 36 hours is a Kit Kat bar and a Sobe.  I want info by the time I'm back.

I remember the episode, but I can't help explain the goings on. Nobody quite knows everything.

I remember the episode. "Who shot Mr. Burns?", the two-part episode.. Smiley

Rundown:  You'll certainly be nominated and approved GM by TrueDem.  He's already said so.

Nym90 conceded at first because Peter Bell deleted his vote after the election was over and everyone thought Naso won 11-10.  Then King certified the election results as 11-11, but Naso wins 9-8 on 1st prefs. since Gabu's new election laws weren't in effect this election, lol.

Oh, and btw, Al wasn't serious about being President either.  He's on too many painkillers.

More or less.  I'm not going to really get into it again, because it'll drag up fights that have finally died down.

I conceded because Peter Bell deleted his vote. If he didn't want his vote counted, as he made clear that he didn't, then I don't think it should count, even if it does legally.

There were other votes that could have been challenged (BobOMac's vote was of questionable legality, and one could argue that Skybridge's should have counted) but I did not want to drag out a huge legal fight. So I guess all those who said that I didn't want to win badly enough were right; such is politics, I guess. Smiley
