Christie/Martinez

A popular Gov. from a liberal state as Pres. candidate.

A popular Gov. from a former swing state full of Mexicans, who is also part-Mexican and a woman for VP.

Plus both are not that old.

Christie/Rubio would be pretty good, but they're going to get into it during the primaries. I can already tell.

I voted Martinez/Rubio. Just imagine the optics of it.

On the other hand, I don't think it's at all likely that Martinez will be the nominee. Christie/Martinez is where it's at, and Christie would be a fool not to pick her. Chris Christie understands politics better than Romney does, so I think the odds are good he'd choose to run with Martinez. And it'll be a great ticket.

I like running Hispanics and minorities for our party. After a couple terms in the White House, it could change perception enough to bring the demographic advantage back to where it was around 2000. Let's hope we can do it. I'd like to see our party to much more to reach out to minorities in general. It couldn't hurt to support affirmative and fund more towards African American colleges.

While I'm not a particularly big fan of Sen. Rand Paul, I like the idea of him playing second fiddle to Christie.

I think the true test of Paul's "constitutionality" would be if he presided over the Senate in his official capacities as Vice President Roll Eyes

It's a possible ticket. They'll get to know each other better throughout the primaries.

Christie/Martinez

Christie, popular governor, is competitive in the battleground states and in a lean democratic states  unlike , for example, Ryan and Rubio.
Another Christie is the only one who can worry Hillary and win well with Biden.
Martinez is a popular governor from a possible battleground state, is woman, is hispanic. Is perfect!

For example:

PPP, Virginia:

Hillary 42 Christie 41  Hillary + 1
Hillary 47 Bush 47      Hillary + 5
Hillary 49 Rubio 37     Hillary + 12 (!!!!)
Hillary 51 Paul 39       Hillary + 12 (!!!!)

Christie/Martinez probably.  That ticket could be a headache for the Democrats.  A popular New Jersey Governor along with a Southwestern Governor who is both Hispanic and female could even give a Hillary-lead ticket a run for its money.
