Children are the best. Nothing makes a room more entertaining than a kid or two in the mix.

I actually like children a lot. I get along fine with them, but maybe that's because of a Peter Pan-complex I apparently have. Tongue

Usually, a very good substitute for pork.

I was wondering how long it would take for a Jonathan Swift reference.

I used to hate them, before I spent time around them. They're just fine, for short periods, and it's okay to be ridiculous and laugh with them. But, I've had to be around children day in, day out for a few weeks. While I certainly have much more respect for parents after that, Jesus Christ it is nice to have some respite with a beer and intelligent conversation when they go to bed. I don't have the stamina to put up with kids like parents must.

Incredibly tough and demanding job, to get it right. If I were 20 years younger however, I would seriously consider it. I finally think I am reasonably fit to be a parent.
