I'll have the same plane figure as anyone else.
Train : actually I travel very frequently on the TGV which broke world record. It's also the one that had for some time the best commercial speed in the world, probably topped by some Chinese train now. It's the TGV-Est from Paris to Eastern France (Nancy or Metz), and it tops at 320 km/h. So this.
Car : back in the good ole days where there were virtually no automatic speed radars on French roads, I remember my father hitting 196 km/h at night on a highway south of Orléans. As for myself at the wheel, I hit 170-175 km/h with my old Citroën Xantia break turbo in Germany a couple of times, once near Kaiserslautern, the other one north of Bitburg, so both times in Rheinland-Pfalz actually.
On water : I actually took the hovercraft that crossed the Channel once, and it says it cruised at ca. 60 knots or 110 km/h. Definitely quick and noisy. The good old days.
