First parliamentary elections since coup/presidential elections.

I assume the president's party Rally for Mally will win. They had been the second largest party for the last decade.

How becomes opposition is up in the air.

First Round Results:
Rally for Mali- 8 seats
URD- 6

There are still 144 seats to be determined during the second round of voting (Dec. 15th).

No results so far. Observers said that the turnout is lower than in the first round (it was then 38.6%), except apparently in Gao and Ansongo, and could reach an historical low. Provisional results should be published before next Friday.

I take it they weren't? Or are you just too busy with the holidays?
