Those are my favorite teams. No I think it's probably going to be either a rematch of Giants vs. Tigers, or Nats vs. Tigers

Who knew.  The team projected to be the worst or one of the worst in the Majors (Houston Astros) scores the first two runs of the 2013 season off of a Justin Maxwell 2 out triple.  They lead the Texas Rangers 2-0 heading into the Top of the 5th.

And now, the team that is expected to be the worst in the Majors won the first game of the season.  The Houston Astros dominated the Texas Rangers 8-2 tonight.  Everyone has to remember though, 1 down 161 to go.

I agree.  Kyle Lohse will add a bunch to the rotation.

sweet it's 35 degrees right now in Minnesota, Minnesota shouldn't start at home, or put a freaking roof on your ballpark.

Go Tigers!

I'm rooting for the Angels as always. I think their pitching staff will be much better than anticipated and that Trout will top 2012, winning MVP as Harper may do as well. I'm somewhat concerned about Pujols and Hamilton, however. I think the Rangers and A's will drop considerably and that Seattle will surprise a lot of people. Toronto will win the East, with Boston their closest competitor; Baltimore will come in last with the Yankees not far behind. I think the Giants will fall off with their weak lineup and the Dodgers will do alright, though that division is not set in stone. The Braves should make the NL East the tightest division in baseball.
