I like how he conveniently ignores that there hasn't been another mass shooting in Australia since that law has passed.  The evidence clearly shows that it has worked, even if it didn't have such a huge effect.

Because of course there would have been another mass shooting in Australia by now if the law had not been passed and mass shootings are the only things to be worried about.  I have to wonder how many of the idiots who have set off deadly wildfires there would have instead gone on a shooting spree if they had had easier access to firearms.

Both sides in this "debate" love to use random factoids and poorly aligned statistics to try and "prove" their case.

I consider myself a moderate pro Second Amendment type (if such a thing even exists anymore), but that is one piss poorly written article.
