I say no. Veterans from the Iraq War are already showing up at homeless shelters in numbers not seen since the Vietnam era.

This is a part of the American mentality I never understood. Why should someone get a free lunch for the rest of their lives jsut because they served in the army?

Because in some cases they're not able to work because of physical handicaps and in a lot of cases they're mentally wounded.

I think we owe it to our veterans to take care of them to a point, especially if they were injured.

They shouldn't necessarily get a free ride for life, but they should get a better deal than somebody who didn't serve.

Because they're the first ones in and the last ones out of our wars while I sit at home and watch HBO.  That's ing why.
