I personally think its interesting seeing these things, and how a presidential candidate transitions back into a normal life. But some here probably like it because they think "OMG Romney is a rich plutocrat!! He never mows his lawn/fills gas/does normal things!!!" That kind of stuff is really annoying to me.

I didn't support Romney but I certainly am not sneering at his post election activities. I think it's great that he's doing fun stuff with his family and friends. It's what I do when I need to get centered again after a setback. The election is over, so take off the partisan glasses. There was some schadenfreude at first (only natural after we had to deal with Trolls convinced that Romney would win) but I really don't think Romney draws the same ire from Obama supporters anymore. We're just genuinely interested to see what he's up to after losing.

I understand, but really, some of the posts on this post election 2012 thread, some of mine included I freely admit, are nothing more than pure trash.

Perhaps there should be restrictions put on what kinds of posts can be put on this post 2012 election thread, such as details pertaining to the election itself, and not what Mitt Romney may or may not be doing since the election.

And my posts are not jejune.  They are imaginative.
