So 82% of Georgia is to the left of the Republican Party's nominees in at least three big Senate elections this year?

I call rogue poll. The spread between Romney & Obama is only 6 points for likely voters. RCP has the average spread at Romney +12. Odds are they oversampled Democrats and therefore pro-choicers.

We're having this debate because the 6% are really, really organized on the issue. It's a life and death issue to them, and fighting for unborn children is what gives their life meaning.

Tom Smith in Pennsylvania.

Perhaps because public opinion should make no difference on issues like this.
Life should be protected regardless the popular view.

That's actually far more offensive than what Akin said, and arguably even more so than Mourdock.

6% believe that the government should force a woman to have a baby even though the birth could  kill her?  That goes beyond being 'pro life' to fetishizing fetuses.

It's likely a significant percentage of that 52% would still be in favor of more restrictions on abortion than "as-is."
