This might seem like a big deal to you, but look at all the equipment on the soldier, as well as the rifle pointed at him. Then take a look at this.

If you look at the soldier, you're not sure. You look at the gun and note the fact that the Pentagon is denying this and it does look rather like a fake:

While I can't read it myself, I've been told that the flag's Arabic is quite erroneous as well.
