I usually vote mid-morning, then stop in at a number of precincts in the area to pollwatch. I just watch long enough to get a feeling as to the turnout compared to the last election of that type (ie 2008 for tomorrow). In the evening, after results are coming in I'll drop by some nearby candidate parties.
