For your pleasure, I am releasing the sixth set of Balance of Power rankings to give everyone an idea of the status of each region. If there are any mistakes in allocation of legislative/executive/judicial seats, please let me know ASAP and I will correct. You can view the last GriffGraph Balance of Power Comparisons here.

The first set of images show plurality/majority party affiliation by region:

The second set of images compare an aggregate of voter registration, executive, legislative and judicial control to effectively determine which parties have the most power:

Finally, an image depicting the swing in each region – based on the Balance of Power maps above:

In the NE, as of November, you got the Senator and Governor's party mixed up.

Thanks, fixed. Fortunately the transpose didn't affect the %s.

The Northeast assembly should be two Labor, one Whig, one TPP, & one independent.

Fixed.

I had accidentally compared the wrong maps (I was looking at the one from October 2 instead of October 22) when making the swing and balance of power maps; I have since fixed them. It changed the result so be sure to give them a second look.

In October 22nd, the Northeast Senator was Liberal, not TPP. Smiley

Meh, the Senator-elect was TPP. It's close enough - nobody corrected it back then, so it stays.

I like these things. Especially when they show the IB gaining more power Wink

Can I get the explanation for why the MW is considered to have swung Whig? I'm not doubting your numbers, I'm just missing where the shift was. Thanks Griffin, these maps are fantastic!

This would be due to Anton Kreitzer's registration in WY.

Wow are we tiny and consistent, if just one new registration made up the political shift over the course of a month. Thanks, Griffin!
