SUSA had a weird pro-McCain bias in MN in 2008. Good to see their numbers seem to be correct this time.

Obama will probably improve upon his 2008 showing here.

I find it harder and harder to believe that MI and MN are comfortably lean Obama and not battlegrounds, but WI is now a tossup. Historically these three states have pretty much voted in the same range. I dont buy Ryan moving the needle in WI by five points or more.   I know Romney is now up with ads but I think that is more to do with their weakness in OH and lurching around to try and find a plan B.

The state parties are very different. The Wisconsin GOP has the great union buster twice elected Scott Walker and the Minnesota GOP has Bachmann and some clowns.

Wisconsin was by far the closest of the group of (MN, WI, MI, PA) in both 2000, 2004. McCain ignored WI or else Obama probably wins it by more like 9-12 rather than the 14 he did. McCain bet it all on PA and lost.

Thank Goodness we are getting a SUSA poll from CO and KY.

KY was not polled for over a year now.

It would be even better if they could poll SC and TN too (those have really old polls too).

Well, saving their money.

It's not like newspapers these days have money to throw around like Mitt Romney ...

Kentucky, though obviously safe R, should be interesting to see if it's one of those states where Obama's barely dropped (WV, AL, OH, and MN seem to be in that club so far)
