Probably leans Obama, but I'm skeptical if it has that much of an impact. It could hurt him if things turn ugly.

Anyway, Israel aren't stupid. It isn't happening.

A conflict with Iran would not in all likelihood involve a land invasion of Iran itself.

The Iraq war was always going to involve a ground component to oust Hussein, however, the ad hoc Bush team 'plan' for transition was an absolute catastrophe. So much blood and treasure was wasted because they were in such a rush.
