IDS Legislative Update Thread

     This is a new thread to chronicle laws as they are passed by the Imperial Legislature. They were originally supposed to be posted in the OAII thread, but that has become the Imperial Bloc and I figured that we should not privilege one party in such a fashion.

     The Legislature has passed the Imperial Scribe and Regional Housekeeping Act of 2012. This law creates this very thread, as well as allowing the Legislature to appoint someone to update the wiki and maintain the Imperial Almanac.

     The Legislature has passed the Valkyrtweed Act. This law would require the region to render assistance to the rightful winner of any Presidential election where an attempt is made to usurp the office, much like in the last one.

     The Legislature has passed the Privacy is a good thing Act. This law forbids law enforcement from using unmanned aircraft except in search and rescue operations.

     The Legislature has passed the Livestock Quality Assurance Act, creating uniform quality standards for all meat sold in the region. Previous standards only applied to animals that are typically consumed for meat, leaving loopholes with unusual animal meat.

     The Legislature has passed the Revolutionary Bill No.1, creating an Imperial Standard, which will be displayed in the various buildings used by the Imperial Guard.

     The Legislature has passed the Revolutionary Bill No.2. This law creates a new standard for the state militias and sets forth some protocols concerning the regional police.
