What do you all think are health care's chances of survival under the Romney administration?  Will there be a Democratic Senate, and will they have the fortitude/ability to defend the social safety net?  What about in 2014?

Health care existed prior to the Obama administration.

Well obviously I'm referring to the health care for the poor.

Obamacare's chance of surviving in its present form is 0% no matter who is elected. Thank you.

A complete repeal of Obamacare is not only going to be extremely hard to do, it would be a bad move politically. The country is split on it at best for the Republicans, and if they win in 2012 their mandate is going to be to fix the economy/lower the deficit. Repealing Obamacare does neither and too much focus on it will lead to a very good election for the Democrats in 2014. Actually that might happen regardless of what happens in a Romney term.....

Obamacare's chance of surviving in its present form is 0% no matter who is elected. Thank you.

So just raise the penalty or allow for higher deductible plans with lower premiums to reel in the late 20's/early 30's crowd. Not a hard fix. Of course a more comprehensive plan based on the Wyden plan would be preferable, but unlikely to happen.
