The Palestinian Authority was supposed to hold elections this spring, I recall reading. Spring is past, and there haven't been any elections. What's going on here?

These elections were originally supposed to be held in 2010.

The "Palestinian Authority" would need to be an authority or have authority to do anything of the kind. And not even the people who set the last election date (hint: they were not Palestinians) can influence events in Gaza right now.
