The sad thing is that the first quote given  for him was from SpongeBob SquarePants.  Given this forum, I think a quote from the role that won him an Oscar is appropriate:  "Ma, sooner or later, there comes a point in a man's life when he's gotta face some facts. And one fact I gotta face is that, whatever it is that women like, I ain't got it."

May he rest in peace.  What a great actor.  Another big loss for the acting world.

A true actor will play any role. Bernie certainly did that.

From his stellar movie career, to his hilarious stint as the star of the sitcom "McHale's Navy," to Mermaid Man, Borgnine has acted like a true professional and has entertained several generations with his incredible talent.

Thank you, Denis.

Marty was great. It's too bad did he never got more serious roles after that, probably for the same reason he had troubles in Marty.  I'm probably going to watch MST3K Merlin's today to remember him by, though.

First Andy Griffith, now Ernest Borgnine. What's this world coming to? Rest in Peace.
